About MUN:
Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nation where students take on the role of UN representatives. Members of other international bodies and national cabinets learn about the working of International politics and problem-solving by engaging in matters concerning security, economic development, etc. Delegates also learn the complexities of international negotiations and teamwork.

About SOIMUN:
Nestled in the lap of curiosity and will to learn and teach, School of India brings to you the first edition of SOIMUN, the most enriching and edifying experience possible for those intrigued with passion, willing to dive into or have already stepped in the waters of Mun-ing. The pedagogy here is action-oriented developed to meet the demands of the students and giving them the best.

Our Philosophy:
Model United Nations is a platform for development. MUN develops skills and values, skills that are needed for future success in college and careers. Looking at how important this year's elections were, we think it is important for every student to know and understand how democracy works and develop a deeper understanding of current world issues and world politics. School of India's Model United Nations is here to teach the students about the world.

It is with great honor and pride that I, Archit Sharma welcome all esteemed and distinguished delegates to the first edition of SOIMUN. School Of India has always been an institute that flourishes in prospering growth and development of each of its students minds. This is because we believe in evolving with the change of generations and progression after each century. Therefore what other way can we depict this phenomenon but through a Model United Nations conference.
International global politics is what this world is based on. Without diplomacy there cannot be peace in the global nation. Its change is constant and inevitable which is why it is our utmost responsibility and duty to keep in constant knowledge of this evolving change to keep growing with each generation and prosper as citizens of the global nation. Adolf Hitler once said, When diplomacy ends, War begins. Although the person who spoke these words was considered a villain of the global audience, this sentence is certainly far from criminal. The following quote represents the importance of diplomacy and how our lives and the welfare of the society depend on the very same. Which is exactly why we at SOIMUN want to make sure young citizens of the world grow up with a knack for diplomacy, foreign policy, public speaking, negotiation and most importantly a clear overview of how the international world community operates.
I personally have severely developed my mind with this very same mindset of practicing my right to speak and express myself through my words in terms of the global forum. Which is exactly why I would be more than pleased to share this way of thinking so we can develop as responsible and knowledgeable citizens of the global community.

Dear Friends and Supporters of SOIMUN,
I am delighted to greet you as the Director General of SOIMUN - School Of India Model United Nations. At SOIMUN, we are dedicated to cultivating the leaders of tomorrow through the transformative power of Model United Nations. SOIMUN stands as a beacon of academic excellence and global citizenship, where students engage in simulated debates and negotiations on pressing international issues. I strongly believe model united nations if a programme where students develop crucial skills in diplomacy, critical thinking, and collaboration, preparing them to navigate the complexities of our interconnected world with confidence and empathy. As we continue to establish the first edition of this conference, the core committee, executive board and the logistical team promises a commitment to excellence. We invite you to join us in empowering young minds to become proactive global citizens and leaders.
At the end of the day, a model United Nations is no better than a community of ambitious participants who foster the youth and co-delegates with lessons, knowledge, and friendship so regardless if this is your first Model United Nation or your 10th, do not let the awards and placements stray you away from being part of the circuit, and please, Never stop MUNning.
